The Big Kitch Appeal
Barry Kitchener is a Millwall legend. The tough centre back spent his whole career with The Lions and holds the record for the most appearances (602) where he scored 25 goals.
Millwall legend Barry Kitchener died on 30 March 2012 after a short battle with Oesophageal cancer.
Before Millwall's home game on 7 April 2012 against Hull City, a minute's applause and a service were held. The home side wore a special white kit in memory of Kitchener.
The Big Kitch Appeal has been set up by Kitch’s daughter Nikki who hopes to raise money and awareness for local cancer charities.
